There’s a common misconception that plan managers hold and directly distribute cash to participants and providers for items approved by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). However, this is not the case.
At Proactive Plan Managers, we follow a meticulous process to ensure that invoices and reimbursements are paid accurately and securely. This process protects our clients, providers, our firm, and the NDIS scheme.
Here’s How Our Process Works:
Invoice Submission: Providers send us their invoices, or clients submit receipts for reimbursement.
Claim Review: We review each claim to ensure it meets our invoice standards and aligns with the client's NDIS plan.
Advanced Technology: Our cutting-edge system performs 32 checks (and counting) on every invoice, ensuring that our clients' finances are managed securely.
Price Verification: We carefully examine each invoice to confirm that providers are charging rates consistent with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. If the rates are correct, we process the claim.
Service Verification: We verify the services invoiced and ensure they are being claimed against the appropriate budgets.
Submission to NDIA: We submit the claim to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) for validation.
NDIA Validation: The NDIA either approves or rejects the claim based on their validation rules, without manual review.
Fund Release: If the claim is validated, the NDIA releases the funds to us. We then make the payment to the provider on behalf of our client or reimburse the client directly.
Payment Recording: We record every payment, reflecting it in our client's plan budget. Clients can view this information anytime through our client portal and mobile app, as well as in their monthly budget report.
At Proactive Plan Managers, we are committed to transparency and efficiency, ensuring our clients’ NDIS funds are managed securely and accurately.
